If I were you, what would I say?

I'd be furious and enraged yet, hold my sway.

I'd try my best to make it work,

I'd stand my ground for all its worth.

I try so hard to control my pain,

Try to hide the betrayal and heartache in vain.

I scroll through my thoughts and through my memories too,

Go over every lie that you probably told me.

I'd question the man I thought I knew,

And find out he's only a boy through and through.

I'd wonder why I chose to stray,

I'd ask him why he still didn't walk away.

I'll try pull it together for you and me,

Cos' i know you're my jaan, and will forever be.

If I were were you, I'd probably stay,

Because these lies are my life and it's just that way.
